On December 7, TVING released the first stills of Cha Eun-woo for the upcoming fantasy film Island on Instagram. The video shows the actor in an unusual character, further attracting fans who are eagerly awaiting the film’s premiere. Cha Eun-woo can be seen wearing a priest’s outfit, lighting a candle, and looking seriously ahead in the first two photos. However, in the third clip, the actor is dressed casually. The three shots greatly raised the expectations of the film.
The upcoming fantasy drama series Island is based on the webtoon of the same name, which tells the story of the magical island of Jeju. The island where the devil lives is full of its hidden secrets. After the presence of evil demons on Jeju Island, people from all walks of life came together to destroy them. The film stars Cha Eun-woo, Kim Nam-gil and Lee Da-hee, whose characters work together to defeat the demons. In the drama, Cha Eun-woo will play a young Exorcist named John or Kang Chan-hyuk.

Cha Eun-woo will play John, who has the privilege of becoming the youngest exorcist after being called by God. After the birth, Ivan was adopted by a foreigner. In the following photos you can see him holding his phone and waiting for someone. However, in the third photo, the young student appears to be dressed casually. Woo’s portrayal of John as well as his attitude shown in the first few stills of Cha Eun have raised fans’ interest and expectations for his character. In the movie, Kim Nam-gil and Lee Da-hee will play Van and Won Mi-ho, respectively. While Van vows to destroy evil, Won Mi-ho is forced by her father to go to Jeju Island to work.
