While watching the Jacksonville Jaguars play the San Francisco 49ers today, fans might be wondering about Trevor Lawrence’s wife, Marissa.
You may not realize that they were actually high school sweethearts and were together throughout college.

They met in eighth grade and attended Cartersville Middle School in Georgia together. They started dating in 2016 and got engaged in 2020 on the football field at Clemson University. Trevor was the starting quarterback at the time. The couple married in South Carolina on April 10, 2021 in front of their friends and family.
You may not know that Marissa is also an athlete! Marissa played soccer at Anderson University in college. She graduated in 2021, but unfortunately her soccer career was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
For work, she plans events and in fact announced her new business, Love, Gigi Event Design, in an Instagram post.
She wrote: “As many of you know, I have always loved events, planning, and everything related to party planning! As I begin this new chapter of life, I’m so excited to share with you all that I’ve partnered with @lovegigievents (eeeep!). I am very excited about this new step and to pursue my dreams.
