Mat Ishbia was watching his Phoenix Suns play the Denver Nuggets when he got into an altercation with Nuggets player Nikola Jokic. Jokic, much taller, pushed Mat with his elbow. Mat tweeted that he didn’t support punishing Jokic (who was fined $25,000) and said he was looking forward to the next Suns game.

However, Emily Ishbia’s Instagram page shows that she is romantically involved with Alex Hodi, a 27-year-old martial artist. Wishing Alex a happy birthday on June 20, 2022, Emily wrote alongside a series of photos:
“Happy birthday to @alexhodi. My ride or die. Always ready to: support me as a mother, pursue dreams, be the best support, helper and friend to my children, design lover, decoration buyer, everything. Thanks for being the way you are”.
Emily’s relationship with Alex suggests that she has broken up with Mat. It is not clear if she divorced Mat.
