Dominic Littlewood is a British journalist who burst onto the scene in 2005 with a show called beat the thief. On the show, Dom joined forces with an ex-convict to show homeowners the deficiencies in their home’s security setups. In 2007, Dom participated in Strictly come danceand in 2010 he became the co-host of jean builders.

He has had many girlfriends but claims never to have fallen in love
In a 2007 interview with Mirror, Dominic gave a rare insight into his love life. He explained that he had always put work before relationships and that this had negatively impacted his love life. Dom said that he had had some ‘great’ girlfriends but he had never been in love. He then expressed the hope that his luck would change. Sun stated:
“I’ve never been in love, and I think it’s my fault. My priorities have changed and I’m ready to fall in love. I just hope I didn’t leave it too late. I know I’m not exactly attractive to look at, but I’m a bit cheeky and I like to have fun, so I hope people see that I’m honest and genuine.”
Dominic’s prostate cancer diagnosis helped his sister discover she had breast cancer
At the age of 10, Dominic was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. To keep the disease under control, he was required to have blood tests twice a year. During one of those routine blood tests in 2012, doctors discovered that Dominic had prostate cancer. He had lost his parents to cancer when they were in their sixties.
Dominic had been toughened by numerous injuries during his life, so he didn’t panic when he got the news. He chose to undergo an operation that would completely remove the prostate glands. Before the procedure, he froze his sperm to ensure that he could have children in the future.
Doctors advised Dominic to tell his brother and sisters to get checked for prostate and breast cancer. A couple of months later, Dominic’s sister, Teresa, found a lump in one of her breasts. littlewood said Mirror:
“She had a mastectomy followed immediately by radiation therapy and is doing well now. But I believe to this day that if it weren’t for my diagnosis and she was more alert as a result, her circumstances would be very different. I probably saved her life. I don’t doubt it for a second. My dad always said that something good will come out of something bad, and in this case it turned out to be true.
