Who Is Maya Jama From “Glow Up” Season 4?

Season 4 of Glow Up returns to Netflix with 10 aspiring makeup artists from across the UK. Maya Jama, TV and radio host, will host the show which will premiere on August 19. The 28-year-old has participated in several events and become famous. The new season of Glow Up will feature 10 British makeup artists competing in a variety of professional jobs such as television, stage, cover and online beauty ads. Furthermore, the exhibition will be judged by cosmetic and beauty gurus Val Garland and Dominic Skinner.

Maya Jama from Glow Up started her career at a young age.

Maya, born and raised in Bristol, began her television career at the age of 16. She first came to London in 2012 to pursue a career in acting, modeling and TV presenter. She entered the field of television presenting after a number of appearances as a model. Maya was a teenager at the time and started working on JumpOff.TV’s weekly music video countdown before moving on to work for Sky UK on TRACE Sports. She presented a travel magazine titled Copa 90’s Fifa World Cup Cities at the 2014 World Championships. It also featured the World Cup Taxi series, which is part of the same World Cup series. Later that year, she joined MTV as the host of The Wrap-Up.

She rose to fame after collaborating with the Brit Awards, showcasing their 2017 Brit Awards pre-party and live streaming the red carpet on Facebook. She added to her list of accomplishments by co-hosting the ITV Saturday night show Cannonball alongside Andrew Flintoff, Frankie Bridge, Radzi Chinyanganya and Ryan Hand in September of the same year. Jama was also a guest panelist on ITV’s Loose Women for two consecutive years in 2017 and 2018.

One of the highlights of the Glow Up host’s career was being the youngest person to host the Channel 5 MOBO Awards alongside host Marvin Humes when she was 23. Maya Jama has also co-hosted many other shows, including The Circle and Stand Up to Cancer. Don’t Hate the Playaz, League of Their Own Road and The Big Fat Quiz of the Year include the presenter as a celebrity participant.

Furthermore, she took over the role of host of Glow Up after the third episode, replacing Stacey Dooley.
