The fourth season of Nancy Drew, starring Kennedy McMann, will premiere on May 31, 2023. The sequel will be the final season of the mystery drama, premiering on May 9. October 10, 2019. While the CW series received mixed reviews from reviewers, consumers loved it. This prompted the creators of the series to produce a fourth and final installment.
Kennedy McMann, who starred, is the star of the show. She is joined by Leah Lewis, who plays her old Georgia high school rival “George” Fayne, and Maddison Jaizani, who plays her co-worker, Bess Turani Marvin. Tunji Kasim plays Drew’s ex-boyfriend and former soccer player Ned “Nick” Nickerson, while Alex Saxon plays Ace, Drew’s love interest.
Kennedy McMann was new when she landed the lead role in February 2019. Before Nancy Drew, she appeared in one episode of Gone and one episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. The previous episode was called Family Pictures, and she played a character named Sara Moreland. The Michigan native appeared as Carol Solomon in an episode of the crime drama series Revenge. After these small roles, McMann got his first break in Nancy Drew.

Kennedy McMann met her husband while studying acting at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.
Kennedy McMann had just graduated from the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama when she was hired to host The CW. The young actress earned her acting degree at the Pittsburgh Theater School, where she met her current husband, Sam McInerney. McMann attended Skyline High School in Arizona before attending Carnegie. On November 12, 2013, while in her senior year, she and four other students were named Mesa Public Schools’ First Student of the Month.
Lisa McMann, her mother, is a novelist who has written the outdated fantasy books The Unwanteds and The Unwanted Quests, as well as the WAKE trilogy for younger readers. Kennedy McMann discussed Nancy Drew’s childhood obsession with Lansing State Magazine in October 2019.
She claims to have a long-term relationship with Nancy Drew because she comes from a “super-literary family”. Kennedy said she grew up reading because her mother was a novelist. After filming the fourth season, the actress said the project “completely changed my life”. She points out that she started her journey at 22 and ended it at 26 because she grew up, got married and bought a house. Kennedy also said that she discovered herself and experienced an “absolute childhood dream”. She described the event as an “incredible gift” that completely changed her life.
The star Nancy Drew is represented by Buchwald, with offices in New York and Los Angeles. McMann appeared in the 2020 short film This Is Not A Love Letter, alongside Gone, Law & Order: SVU, and Nancy Drew. Among other things, she has appeared in two episodes of the Hulu TV show Tell Me Lies.
Kennedy McMann will appear in The Good Lawyer, a potential spin-off to ABC’s The Good Doctor, a continuation of the amateur detective series. Felicity Huffman co-starred with her in the medical drama’s embedded pilot episode on March 13, 2023. Huffman, known for American and Transamerican Housewives, is a winner of a Primetime Emmy Award.
