Dan Bongino is a Republican who ran for Congress in 2012, 2014 and 2016, but has lost every year since. He is of Italian descent and holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in psychology from Pennsylvania State University. Bongino also has a master’s degree in business administration.

From 1995 to 1999, Bongino was a member of the NYPD. In 1999, he became a special agent of the United States Secret Service. He began teaching at the Secret Service Training Academy in Beltsville, Maryland in 2002. During the presidency of George W.
