Charlie Kirk is a radio host famous for creating Turning Point USA. Kirk was one of several Republicans who criticized former President Trump in 2016 before becoming staunch supporters of the controversial president. As president of Students for Trump, Charlie led an unsuccessful campaign to recruit one million students for Trump’s re-election campaign.
Kirk has generated controversy for spreading misinformation. For example, he went public with Trump’s claim that hydroxychloroquine was an effective cure for the coronavirus, leading to his temporary ban on Twitter.
Charlie claims to be a staunch Christian, as is his wife, Erika Frantzve.
Charlie began dating Erika in 2019 and married her in May 2021.
Erika’s first tagged photo with Charlie was posted in June 2019, suggesting they started dating around that time.
Kirk proposed to Erika in early December 2020. “When God writes your love story, you marry your best friend,” Frantzve wrote along with Instagram photos of the proposal.
Charlie and Erika wasted little time before tying the knot — they tied the knot on May 8, 2021 in Scottsdale, Arizona. On May 8, 2022, Erika celebrated the couple’s anniversary by posting photos from the ceremony along with this lovely message:
“One year ago we stood at that altar making the most precious covenant with God by becoming one flesh. A profound transformation and unification that I will never be able to put into words. A year of adventures. Of laughter. Of endless memories. God knew all along that it was you. I love you infinitely.”
In early January 2022, Erika appeared on The Charlie Kirk Show and he said that he appeared in his life at the perfect moment: “You were not a second late or a second before, you arrived at the exact moment. I thought, you know what, I’m running my race and I’m in a stream of healthy things, getting my life together, you came running to my side.”
Charlie’s Instagram posts are mostly related to his political activism, but every once in a while he creates a space for Erika. In November 2022, he celebrated his wife’s birthday by posting a wedding photo and writing, “Happy birthday E. I am so proud of the leader, businesswoman, wife, and mother you have become. I love you very much.”

On August 29, 2022, Charlie surprised her Instagram followers by announcing the birth of her daughter: “Welcome to the world, girl. we love you so much Erika did great, praise God!” Kirk said on his show that the birth of his daughter had given his life more meaning:
“When you look down in your arms and suddenly see your child, everything you’re fighting for, everything you care about, everything you’re fighting for becomes crystal clear almost instantly. He puts the whole fight … in a whole new perspective.”
Kirk said that he and Erika agreed to keep the pregnancy private; they only informed family and close friends. Charlie said the couple felt something so special needed protection from prying eyes and social media chatter.
“It’s not about the millions of people who could talk about it and get likes and shares and all that,” Charlie said. Erika and Charlie have kept the identity of her daughter a secret, we don’t know her name nor have we seen her picture.
Erika Frantzve won Miss Arizona 2012 and runs several businesses
Erika Frantzve won Miss Arizona 2012 while studying political science and international relations at Arizona State University. Frantzve competed for the Miss USA crown but did not make the top 16.
In 2017, Erika enrolled at Liberty University and earned a Master of Jurisprudence. Five years later, she earned her Doctorate in Christian Leadership from the same institution.
Frantzve runs a self-improvement podcast titled Midweek Rise Up and owns Proclaim Streetwear, a clothing brand. The brand’s website states that their goal is to spread the gospel through clothing.
Proclaim Streetwear’s offerings are pricey compared to competing brands, but Erika’s company says that with every purchase, the shopper donates an item of clothing to someone in need. The website says:
“Because our clothing is mission-specific, you can choose to hand-deliver your second item to someone in need or select the option to have our PROCLAIM Street Team do it for you. This is your grace to give away. Regardless of how it is provided, we are grateful to have your service in our movement.”
