Carla Hall was born in Nashville, Tennessee on May 12, 1964 and spent most of her youth there. Hillsboro High School was where she completed her education. Hall graduated from the Howard University School of Business with a degree in accounting in 1986.
She later earned her CPA designation while working at Price Waterhouse in Tampa, Florida. She didn’t like her job and quit after two years to pursue a career in the culinary arts.
