Blayre Wright, owner of Manheim-based Flouretta Sweet, will be competing in Season 8 of the Halloween Baking Championship. She will compete against 11 other contenders for the title and $25,000 in prize money. The eight-episode series will be set in a haunted hotel and will premiere on the Food Network on September 12, 2022 at 9:00 p.m. ET. Blayre Wright, according to her LinkedIn page, is a designer ‘Incredibly stylish and unique handcrafted wedding cakes, occasion cakes and sweets.’ Her skills will be judged by Stephanie Boswell, Carla Hall and Zac Young. Blayre Wright has had many culinary experiences with baking.
Blayre started as an intern in 2010 and was promoted to assistant cake decorator at The Flour Child Bakery the following year. At that time, she was also a permanent assistant at The Lodges – Culinary Institute of America, where she organized events and activities among others.
