Season 3 of Love is Blind follows the 27-year-old from Dallas, Texas as he embarks on a quest to find the right partner to spend the rest of his life with. According to his Netflix profile, laughing is Bartise’s top priority. “He was looking for someone who could ‘hear all of his jokes’ and ‘play some back,'” he said.

In high school, Bartise was an athlete and basketball player. However, injury prevented him from competing and he started weightlifting about seven years ago. In an interview with BodyBuilders.com, he talked about his illness, saying:
“I was a high school athlete and after breaking my ankle in a basketball game my senior year, I realized that my hopes of playing D-1 basketball were dashed. I went to a D-3 school to play basketball, but I ended up breaking my other ankle and having to have surgery again, so I quit the sport.”
He said his love of weightlifting has helped him balance his physical and mental health. He started weightlifting when he was 20 years old. In a 2019 interview, Bartise said:
“I started weightlifting when I was 20 years old, about four years ago. I became engrossed in the proceedings. I am physically, psychologically, and emotionally bound to progress. I’m fascinated by how we can completely transform our bodies by regulating and managing what we eat and how we exercise.”
Bartise received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2017 and his Master of Science in Accounting in 2018. From 2017 to 2018, he was an Auditing Intern and prior Accounting Advisor. becoming an Audit Associate in 2020 and a Senior Associate in 2021 before joining a healthcare company as a senior analyst.
In a preview of Season 3, Blind Love, Bartise writes on her Instagram stories:
“This won’t be for another sixty years when I’m 85 [poiting towards himself]. I want someone to appreciate me for who I am on the inside, not what I show on the outside.”
