Sean Pryor, Kasean’s father, is a former basketball player who played for Oregon State from 1995 to 1998. He was also the team captain for two seasons. Sean continued his basketball career in France and Puerto Rico before returning to the United States and joining the business sector. He spent three years at Encore Nationwide before returning to the sports sector.
In 2006, he took over as the assistant head coach at Minerals Area College. Sean previously worked for AAU and played high school basketball before joining the Minerals. Kasean Pryor’s career
Kasean was born in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Ann Arbor Pioneer High School. Kasean was a two-year letterwinner in Ann Arbor, averaging 15 points and nine rebounds his senior season. He was also selected to the All-State Red List and the All-Southeastern Conference First Team. The forward was named to the Ann Arbor Area Dream Team second team after averaging 14 points and nine rebounds in his junior season. Kasean played two seasons at Boise State after graduating from Ann Arbor.
Kasean averaged 1.2 points and 1.0 rebounds in five games in his first season. His stats improved in his second year when he played eight games and averaged 2.3 points and 1.4 rebounds. Kasean later enrolled at Northwest Florida State, where he played and started 35 games in his only season. He averaged 14.8 points per game. Kasean announced his decision to attend the University of South Florida in May 2023, choosing them over NC State, St John’s and New Mexico.
