Keke Palmer was born on August 26, 1993 in Harvey, Illinois, the son of Sharon and Larry Palmer. Keke’s parents were trained actors and had acted professionally before taking full-time jobs. They supported Keke when he said she wanted to be an actress, but were hesitant to move from Illinois to Los Angeles so she could have more acting opportunities.
