Tameka Cottle, singer-songwriter and rapper TI gave birth to a stillborn baby girl named Leyah Amore Harris. Despite the fact that more than a decade has passed since Leyah’s death, there are still speculations about the cause of her death.

TI and Cottle first became parents in August 2004, when their son Clifford “King” Harris III was born. After three years, the couple discovered that they were expecting their second child, a baby girl. Unfortunately, the pregnancy ended in tragedy.
In an exclusive interview with Essence Magazine, the singer talked about her pregnancy difficulties. She said her daughter’s bag had split in half and hadn’t been put back together since the baby girl in it was 16 weeks old.
According to the Grammy-winning artist, the baby was “placed between those two bags”. Doctors also warned her that the fetus “could be entangled in her umbilical cord”.
Despite repeated warnings from doctors, Cottle never thought about losing her baby. Six months after giving birth, Cottle went to a specialist and the results were devastating.
