Jay Blades (52) married Lisa Zbozen (42) on November 22, 2022. Blades revealed what happened on their wedding day in a recent interview with Hello! Magazine. Božen continued:
“When you reach a certain age, you realize what really matters on any given day – and it’s the people around you who accept you for who you are.” So we brightened the day.”
The big day was held at a beach house in Barbados, only 15 people were invited. According to Blades, only members of their immediate family are there. Jay said he’s not an emotional person, but he still cried at the wedding. He continued:
“I almost have tunnel vision and all I can see is Lisa.” And, to be honest, that’s when I realized it. ‘Now we are actually married!’ I cried out. That was the only time I was really emotional.”
Blades wore a black linen suit and bridal gown made by Romantic Dress Bridal in Birmingham. The Repair Shop’s Richard Talman made the couple’s rings out of stone. Lisa said she doesn’t want a perfect wedding ring because she believes that nothing is perfect. The couple have begun preparing another party for next year, which will invite family members and friends, as well as names from The Repair Shop.

Lisa Zbozen is a personal trainer who became famous for her social media photos of herself performing heavyweight exercises like swings, swings, and squats. The 42-year-old is the founder of The Wkout, a workout app that offers several approaches for those interested in burning fat, building muscle, and yoga. According to her bio on The Wkout website,

Although it’s not clear how they met, Jay Blades and Lisa Zbozen got married last December. Blades proposed to Zbozen with a ring designed by Richard Talman. He shared the news on social media, writing:

Blades was formerly married to Jade, with whom he formed the Out of the Dark organization. Their divorce in 2015 left the organization in trouble, suffered heavy losses, and Jay himself fell into financial hardship.
