In January 2009, Vinay Madhav joined Al Rahmaniya Catering LLC in UAE as Outlet Manager and worked there for two years. From March 2013 to February 2016, he worked as a Food and Beverage Specialist at Oceania Cruises, US. In March 2016, he took up the position of Hotel Operations Manager/Acting General Manager at Malabar Escapes Pvt. Ltd. Ltd. in Kochi, Kerala (affiliated with Relais & Châteaux). From 2018 to 2020, he worked as a Camp Manager at The Ultimate Traveling Camp, Dehli. In January 2020, he started working at Endurance Hygiene Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Ltd., Ernakulam, Kerala as General Manager. In August 2021, he resumed his position as Camp Manager at The Ultimate Traveling Camp, Dehli.

In 2013, he gained popularity when he became the winner of the Malayalam TV show ‘Mammootty the Best Actor Award’ aired on Asianet.
