Career
Vinay Bidappa throughout his career, as an actor, has acted in several well-known Kannada movies. In 2015, he was offered to play a role in the film Sharp Shooter, and in the same year, he worked alongside the well-renowned actor Yash, in the film Mr and Mrs Ramachari. He got a major break in his acting career in 2017 when he was offered a role by Prasanth Neel, in the film KGF. In the film, Vinay Bidappa played the role of Virat, who happens to be the brother of the lead antagonist. His role as Virat was immensely loved by the KGF fans worldwide.

In 2020, he was given another role in the film Yuvarathnaa, a Kannada film directed by Santhosh Ananddram.
