Vijay Sri Hari is an Indian actor, writer and director who works in the Tamil entertainment industry. He is the son of Tamil actress Vanitha Vijayakumar and Tamil actor turned businessman Akash.

In 2022, an interview was conducted with Vijay Srihari’s mother Vanita Vijayakumar, in which she was shown the reply given to one of her son’s Instagram posts. When a user on Instagram asked Vijay if he was Vanita’s son, he replied that he was Akash’s son. When Vanita was shown this comment during the interview, she replied that she wanted to slap her son Vijay hard. He further said that there is no dispute between them but he hopes that whatever rift is there, it will be resolved one day.

- Vijay Sri Hari was five years old when his parents Vanitha Vijayakumar and Akash got divorced. At that time he decided to live with his father and since then he has been separated from his mother.
- According to an article published in 2020, Vanitha’s third marriage to Peter Paul has mentally affected her first husband Akash and their son Vijay Sri Hari. The reason was that Vanitha married Peter when he was already married to someone else. People started trolling Vanita and calling her a homebreaker. Akash and Vijay were constantly asked for their reviews about it, which they were unable to digest and this put mental pressure on them.
