In 2023, he made his television debut after he appeared on the show MTV Roadies – Karm ya Kaand as a contestant. On 8 July 2023, he gave the auditions for the reality show MTV Roadies season 19. In the interview, he referred to himself as a mentally and physically strong person. To impress the gang leaders, he showed a bhangra performance in front of them but they did not like it and told him that he did not have the vibe for the show. So, gang leader Prince Narula danced with him and he felt a little comfortable and enjoyed dancing then. Gang leader Rhea Chakraborty was still not impressed with him so she rejected him and pressed the red light. He tried talking to her and convinced her to select him but she still rejected him. Later, Gautam asked him to show them his fitness skills and all the gang leaders were very impressed by his physical strength. Gautam selected him immediately but Prince was still not impressed and rejected him by pressing the red light. Digvijay talked to him and tried to convenience him to select him but Prince asked him to show them some more skills. Then he did single-leg squats and pushups after which Rhea and Prince both selected him but asked him to convenience Gautam to spend 1900 rodiums on him. Gautam did not think twice and used 2700 rodiums for him. After this, it was Digvijay’s choice to select which leader he would choose. His final choice was Gautam who had initially lifted the liver for him. In an interview, he talked about his love for Roadies and said,
I have been watching Roadies show since childhood, so it was a dream to enter the show. After clearing Group Discussion 1, Group Discussion 2 there was a chance for Personal Interview. I consider myself very lucky that 50,000 people came to audition and 30 of them get selected and go on the journey, in which I have also got a chance.”
