Usher is generating excitement among fans with a newly released trailer for Apple Music’s Super Bowl LVIII halftime show. The “Yeah” singer will headline the show on February 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
A glimpse of Usher’s upcoming plans was revealed through a captivating one-minute promotional video. It takes viewers on a fascinating journey through 30 years of his illustrious career. The video begins with a moving gospel choir performance of “Peace Up,” as other passionate fans echo his sentiments to the accompaniment of a church organ.
As a tribute to the song that serves as the video’s soundtrack, the chorus harmoniously adds the iconic phrase “A-town down” from the sensational 2004 collaboration with Lil Jon and Ludacris, “Yeah!”
After a woman utters the phrase “take that and rewind it,” the camera gracefully transports us back in time to the year 1998. This was a pivotal moment for Usher, following the success of his second album, “My Way,” released in 1997. The album catapulted the talented singer to global stardom. Of course, this was thanks to the irresistible allure of chart-topping hits like “You Make Me Wanna…” and “Nice & Slow.”
