Usha Kumara was born on Sunday, 2 April 1995 (age 28 years; as in 2023) in Hassan, Karnataka, India. Her full name is Natesh Kumar Usha Bannur (also known as BN Usha or Usha Teju Kumar). His zodiac sign is Aries. He received his bachelor’s degree and PGDCA from Alva College, Moodbidri, Karnataka, affiliated to Mangalore University. He participated in various weightlifting and powerlifting competitions at college, national and international levels.

He participated in the All India Inter-University Powerlifting Championship held at Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2017. In 2018 he began competing in weightlifting competitions.
