Udit Singhal is an Indian social entrepreneur, tech enthusiast, artist and golfer. She was selected by the United Nations in September 2020 as one of the seventeen ‘2020 Young Leaders for the “Sustainable Development Goals” from around the world.

Udit Singhal was born in 2002 (age 19 years; as in 2021) in New Delhi. His zodiac sign is Virgo. He attended the British School in New Delhi for his schooling. He did his summer training in Sustainable Development and Social Entrepreneurship at Yale University in New Haven, USA. He is a student of UCL (University College London) and is pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Management Science.

He was born in a Hindu family. His father Rajeev Singhal is the editor and publisher of Fine Wine & Champagne in India. His mother, Ritu Singhal, is a distributor at Bernardaud and Hotelwares. His elder brother Suchet Singhal also studied at UCL.

In 2017, he started a web-development company, ‘US Studio’. In 2018, he founded an eco-friendly project, “Glass2Sand”, focused on the growing menace of glass waste in Delhi, and he is working with the aim of preventing dumping of glass bottles in landfills. In September 2020, she was selected by the United Nations as one of the seventeen ‘2020 Young Leaders for the Sustainable Development Goals’ worldwide. As a youth leader for the SDGs, I will be an active agent of change. I hope I can encourage communities to adopt a better civic sense in creating sustainable living spaces – like when mountain-high landfills explode.
