Maybe Sookie doesn’t know Bill as well as she thinks she does.

After being tortured by Lorena, Bill was freed by Suki with the help of Tara and Alcide. Driving away in the back seat of a truck, Suki gave Bill some of her blood to try to wake him up. However, the vampire eventually lost control and fed her to the point of almost killing her. Sookie was in a coma in the hospital after her body refused a blood transfusion.
Although Bill eventually saves her when Suki wakes up and gives her some blood, Suki admits that she is afraid of Bill and wonders if she can ever forgive him. Even though Bill tells her it was an accident and he can’t stop himself, the near-kill of the person you claim to love is not true.

After Eric informs Suki that Bill’s first meeting with her has been scheduled on behalf of the Queen of Louisiana, Eric drops another bombshell of truth. Bill allows Mike and Dennis Rattray to “closely” beat Suki to provide her with blood, creating a bond between the two of them.
Naturally, Sookie is horrified to learn the truth and bans him from her home and life. Of all the terrible things Vampire Bill has done in his series, this is truly one of the worst.
