Travis Kelce’s Teammate Rashee Rice Admits She ‘Wouldn’t Upgrade’ Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce’s romance with Taylor Swift is making headlines. In many ways, the Kansas City Chiefs are stuck in this. Now, one of Kelce’s teammates, Rashee Rice, is opening up about Swift’s presence at games.

He revealed during an episode of Fubo Sports’ “Airing It Out” podcast that he refused to approach Swift, despite seeing her at games. He found it too disrespectful of Kelce.

“I’ve seen her, but I didn’t go up to her and say, ‘Can I take a photo?’ or none of that,” Rice said. It’s because he “wouldn’t approach another guy’s girl.” However, there is an exception to this rule.

“Maybe if my daughter was there, she’d say, ‘Can we take a picture with the girls together?’ or something like that,” Rice said. Plus, it may ruin why Rice and Kelce are friends.

“You know, those guys like Trav and Pat, they ask us out because they know we’re the only ones who see them every day and know and see what they really are, not just like, ‘Bro, you’re a superstar football player!’ ” he said. “It’s just Pat and it’s just Trav.”

However, Rice is a Swift fan. “She also brought a lot more fans to the team,” she explained.

Kelce also had to adjust to Taylor Swift being at his games. During a recent episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce On the podcast, Kelce talked about seeing Swift on the big screen during the New England Patriots game.

“They showed Taylor in the game, and I mean you don’t see an entire fan base of the home team going crazy over someone wearing the opposing team’s colors,” Kelce said. “It just shows you how amazing that girl is. “They went completely crazy when they showed Taylor on the screen.”

Kelce had to put his feelings aside because he had a game to play. However, she thought she was really cool.

“I was trying to stay calm,” Travis said. “I was like, ‘Don’t show your cards, don’t show your cards.’ It was fun, man. Shout out to the Patriots, New England. Taylor, she’s on record saying that that stadium is one of the most fun she’s ever played in, so showing her is just showing her some love. So let’s thank the Patriots for doing that.”
