It seems like Travis Kelce’s friends and family have nothing but good things to say about Taylor Swift, despite all the hate she receives from NFL fans.
Kelce’s teammate, Kansas City Chiefs safety Justin Reid, is the latest person to praise Swift. He said sports who fully supports Kelce and Swift’s relationship, even though people complain about her receiving so much media attention.
Reid said Taylor Swift is a really nice person and deserves respect. “She is very, very sweet,” she shared. “…I don’t understand why she gets all the hate. “She is an incredible person, an incredible artist in every way.”
When asked if Swift would give the Chiefs a private concert if they managed to win the Super Bowl for the second year in a row, he laughed and said it’s unlikely. “I’m sure she’ll be busy celebrating with her man,” she said.
Patrick Mahomes’ father says Taylor Swift is ‘a normal person’
Patrick Mahomes’ father, former professional baseball player Pat Mahomes, also spoke about his encounter with Taylor Swift. He was equally impressed by her. Pat, his wife, and his daughter had the opportunity to sit with Swift at the games.
“She has her feet on the ground,” he shared with Starcade Media. “In fact, I went up and introduced myself to her, and she said that she knew who I was because she had seen [Netflix’s] Attack player series.”
Taylor Swift happily posed for a photo with him and his family during their first meeting. Since Pat considers Travis Kelce a son, he has gotten to know Swift over the months.
“I mean she was genuine,” he added. “Every time I go out with her, she acts like a normal person.”
The Grammy winner has dedicated herself to becoming a true part of Kelce’s life. She has also formed a close friendship with Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, she makes it a point to meet all the wives and girlfriends of the other Chiefs players and has become close to Kelce’s family.
