Travis Kelce, Super Bowl champion and billionaire, is for some reason surprised to be dating Taylor Swift. At least, that’s what the Chiefs’ star tight end stated in the most recent episode of his podcast.
During a conversation with guest rapper and comedian Lil Dicky at the new heights On the podcast, hosted by him and his older brother Jason Kelce, Travis confessed his continued amazement at the success he had in charming Taylor Swift last year.
Apparently, Travis seems to believe that Swift not following the NFL was an obstacle he needed to overcome.
The conversation about Swift began when Lil Dicky commented on Travis and the billionaire pop queen’s relationship, calling it “the best thing ever.”
Lil Dicky then pointedly revealed the potential appeal of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s romance.
“I think there’s something that makes everyone feel like the world is like high school,” Dicky speculated. “Where your beloved most popular pop star musician somehow met your beloved most popular athlete and they really fell in love and it’s just real.”

“I appreciate it, man,” Travis responded. However, the incredibly successful professional athlete, podcaster, and entrepreneur seems to think that courting Swift was an insurmountable goal for him. After all, unlike most women, she differs in that she does not like sports.
“I don’t know how I did it because she didn’t like sports, so I don’t know how the fuck I did it,” Travis admitted.
Indeed, it is astonishing to contemplate how a three-time Super Bowl winner in his prime with a reported net worth of $50 million and a six million dollar mansion could ever overcome such a barrier. He is an inspiration to ordinary people around the world.
Lil Dicky began reminding Travis how he first caught Taylor Swift’s attention on a 2023 episode of new heightsrevealing his failed attempt to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number at one of his Kansas City Eras Tour shows.
However, Travis was quick to interrupt Lil Dicky. “Well, you did it because you reported her…” Lil Dicky began before Travis chimed in: “No, 100%, I know exactly how I did it.”
Of course, Taylor Swift ended up following the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2023-24 season closely, attending several games, including the Super Bowl. After the Chiefs’ victory, he celebrated by kissing his teammate, player number 87, on the field.
