Tori Bowie, US Olympic gold medalist, dies at 32

Tori Bowie has sadly passed away.

The three-time Olympic sprint medalist has passed away at the age of 32, a representative confirmed on Wednesday (May 3).

“We are devastated to share the very sad news that Tori Bowie has passed away”, Icon Management tweeted.

He won gold for the United States in the 100-meter relay at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, and won silver in the 100-meter dash and bronze in the 200-meter dash at the 2016 Games.

He last competed in an event in June 2022. His cause of death has yet to be made public.
