Before completing his education, Tony Berlin interned at PBS News while pursuing his master’s degree. At the end of his internship, it is unknown what jobs he did to support himself until he started his career.
However, his first job was as host of ‘Good Morning America’ on ABC, which was an instant rise to stardom.
Having gained widespread popularity, he already had numerous opportunities open, and one followed at WHIO-TV in 1995, where he remained as host for three years.
In 1998 he joined WCCO-TV, where he worked as a senior reporter for seven years, until he received an even better offer in 2005. He then moved to New York-based WCBS-TV Channel 2 to work as a field reporter.
Over the next few years, he contributed to numerous prestigious news companies, including CNN, ABC, NBC and CBS, and also worked for WJLA-TV in Savannah.
After more than 11 years of experience in very senior positions at various media companies, he launched his own company, Berlin Media Relations, and was initially a director, then president and finally CEO, a position he holds to this day.
