The video shows TI showing his son, King, some ‘tough love’ after things got heated during an argument.
Rapper TI, 43, was filmed getting physical with his son King, 19, after an argument between the two escalated.
The “Live Your Life” rapper and father of four performed Sunday to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Atlanta Falcons’ Hip Hop Celebration. After the performance, according to TMZ, TI and King engaged in a fun back-and-forth that went south. Things got heated when the father-son duo’s tempers flared in their Mercedes-Benz Stadium suite.
King went live on his Instagram where he pleaded with viewers that he had gone through “hardships” like “living with cockroaches growing up.” His parents laughed at his claims and reminded King that he begged to spend time at her grandmother’s house to “suck his pacifier” because he wasn’t allowed to have one in her MANSION.
King then snapped and started yelling that he was known for “doing business,” prompting TI to lash out and tell him he was embarrassing the family and himself.
Shortly afterward, King begged his father to “put it aside.” You can briefly see the famous rapper in the frame of the video as he proceeds to put his son in a headlock during his live broadcast.
“Wow, you can’t do anything with me…there’s nothing you can do with me,” TI said as viewers asked King to “stop” before the video abruptly ended.

After the altercation, King took to his Instagram Stories, where he vented about the situation in front of his 823,000 followers. Ironically, many of them sided with her parents and coined the very definition of “Nepo Baby.”
It’s very strange when children of celebrities deny their lavish lifestyles. The criticism that follows is often met with ridicule from Hollywood parents who disagree, especially Gwyneth Paltrow, who doesn’t mind the term at all.
Do you think TI took things too far with his son?
