Thulani Dlomo’s career
Since the age of 13, Thulani has been involved in South African politics. He was a member of the ANC fighting for independence and was exiled. When he started serving as the head of the State Security Department in 2012, he quickly became known to the public. In 2014, he was appointed Deputy General Manager of SSA.
Thulani Dlomo’s SSA career entailed various scandals. Van Loggerenberg and Pillay’s positions at the South African Internal Revenue Service (SARS) were allegedly removed due to his alleged use of South African intelligence to engage in dirty politics.
