Prince Harry does not plan to watch The crown—And it turns out that his friends won’t see it for him either.
As reported by page six, Prince Harry will not watch the new season of The crownwhich features the tragic death of his mother, Princess Diana.
The final season of the Netflix series shows Diana’s final days amid her romance with film producer Dodi Fayed until her death in a car accident in Paris on August 31, 1997.
A source said page six, “Due to the sensitive nature of the content of the upcoming episodes of ‘The Crown,’ it is understandable that Prince Harry has decided not to watch the season.”
Harry, 39, has been candid about his struggles following the loss of his mother and explained how his mental health was affected.
Previous reports claimed that Harry’s friends would watch the show on his behalf to warn him about any traumatic content. However, the reports were later dismissed as false.
According to the source, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have “no bad feelings towards the creators of the Netflix show.” The source also maintains that Harry and Meghan Markle were “not consulted by anyone affiliated with the series or Netflix.”
The publication also reports that Harry’s brother William will not see The crown.
