‘The Voice’ Season 24 Winner Announced, Viewers Lose Him

Last night (December 19) marked the end of the 24th season of The voicewith some really fierce competitors.

Of course, as in the final round of any competition, the five finalists had the chance to fight to become champions. However, the season 24 finale was exciting as all five competitors had four-chair spinning performances in the Blind Auditions.

Going into the final, Team Niall Horan’s Huntley and Team Reba McEntire’s Ruby Leigh were the favorites to win. That being said, they had some very tough competition from Jacquie Roar (Team Reba), Mara Justine (Team Horan) and Lila Forde (Team John Legend).

In the end, however, the betting odds were right and Huntley became the new Voice champion, marking trainer Niall Horan’s second consecutive victory. The internet instantly exploded with the news, with fans taking to Twitter to express their excitement for both the current coach and their champion.

‘The Voice’ season 24 finale featured impressive performances

Throughout the season 24 finale, fans of The voice They were treated to a series of impressive performances from the finalists, as well as previously eliminated contestants, coaches and special guests.

These performances included the Top 12 singing โ€œDance the Nightโ€ by Dua Lipa, the coaches singing โ€œLet It Snow! Let it Snow! Let it snow!” and Keith Urban performing his hit song “Blue Ain’t Your Color.”

Fans also spotted Dan + Shay, who will be lending their talents as The voice Coaches the next season performed their single โ€œBigger Houses.โ€ Also performing were singer-songwriter Teddy Swims, indie band AJR, South African singer Tyla and funk legends Earth, Wind & Fire.

Each of these artists received love from fans online. But the main attraction was the performances of the finalists. Winners Niall Horan and Huntley performed a rendition of Bob Dylan/Guns N’ Roses’ “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door.” McEntire and Roar performed Wynonna Judd’s “No One Else on Earth.”

With his second runner-up, Justine, Niall Horan performed the Eagles’ โ€œWasted Time,โ€ while McEntire returned to the stage with Leigh for a performance of Brenda Lee’s โ€œRockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.โ€ Finally, Legend and Forde sang โ€œSleigh Rideโ€ by The Ronettes.

Following the impressive performances of the finalists, the winner was announced. Forde finished in fifth place, Roar took fourth place and Justine took third place. The runner-up was Ruby Leigh and eventually the winner was Huntley.

“Honestly, I was very surprised,” Huntley said. ET online after the victory. โ€œYou know, Ruby is very talented and I think she is a force to be reckoned with.
