Although they played lovers on the show, Mila and Ashton claimed they were not interested in each other. Ashton wasn’t doing too well after his divorce with Demi either. For a week, Ashton survived on water and tea while trying to figure out her next move. Ashton told Dax Shepard that he decided to make peace with the past before moving on. He said;
“I wrote down each of the relationships that I had in which I felt there was a grudge or something, regret, anything. And I wrote letters to each of the people, and on the seventh day, I typed them up and then mailed them out. I wrote them all by hand and then typed and sent them.”

Three months later, the couple realized their arrangement wasn’t working because they were too infatuated with each other. Kunis continued;
“Three months later we are living together. Six months later we are like married and have a child. Like, literally, we clearly didn’t see the end of any of our movies.”
News of the couple’s engagement broke in 2014, and they later tied the knot in a secret ceremony at a ranch outside Los Angeles. Ashton told him Ellen Degeneres that he used social networks to ignore the paparazzi and their helicopters;

In June 2019, the couple posted a hilarious video of them reacting to a post that said they were divorcing. The couple used the satirical video to refute claims that they were divorcing.
Mila and Ashton had to weather another storm later in the year when Ashton’s ex-wife accused him of cheating on him while they were married. Demi Moore made some strong accusations and Ashton almost reacted in anger, if it weren’t for his family. Ashton tweeted;
“I was about to push the button on a really sarcastic tweet. Then I saw my son, my daughter and my wife and I deleted it.”
