There’s another new update on Jamie Foxx in the midst of his hospitalization.
Early last month, Jamie’s daughter, actress Corinne Foxx, told fans that she was on the mend after experiencing a “medical complication.”
Word of his condition spread, with many of his peers providing updates along the way. Jamie also released a statement in mid-April, sharing his thanks for all the well wishes.
Now, a source close to Jamie is sharing a new update on the actor’s health.

“Jamie is stable and is not in a life-threatening situation at this time,” the source told People.
They added that his doctors are still “running more tests and want to be completely sure that he will be okay before allowing him” to leave the hospital.
The source also shared that Jamie is still looking forward to getting back to work.
“He has many projects underway,” they said. “He gets things done; he is focused and cunning. What happened to him medically is serious enough to keep him in the hospital.”
Jamie recently made the decision to stop hosting Beat Shazam for its sixth season.
