Now fans have something else to swoon over after a recent episode of new heights the podcast hosted by Travis and his brother and professional football teammate, Jason Kelce.
In the broadcast, the Kansas City Chiefs player spoke personally about his trip to Argentina to see Swift perform the international segment of her Eras Tour.
Jason noted that Travis previously mentioned that he would prefer to keep his personal life private, but also noted that there wasn’t much privacy for the tight end during his trip.
In a heartwarming video, Swift broke the Internet after changing the lyrics of her hit song “Karma” to “Karma is the guy from the Chiefs, coming straight home to me” instead of the original lyrics that read: “Karma is the guy ”. on the screen, coming home straight to me.”
Of course, the crowd couldn’t contain their excitement, but what really caught everyone’s attention was when Scott Swift, the pop singer’s father, tried to high-five Kelce after the cute tribute.
However, Travis didn’t see the gesture, which later became a joke when Jason made fun of his brother on the podcast.
“You were so surprised you left Scott hanging,” Jason laughed. “Scott’s here looking for a high five.”
“Mr. Swift, I apologize, big guy,” Travis responded. “Oh man, I missed that. I never miss a high-five too. Big high-five kid!”
Travis then shared that he “had a little idea” about the lyric change, “but definitely when I heard it come out of his mouth, it still surprised me.”
The football player continued: “I was like oh shhh…did she really just say that?”
Travis later revealed that he had met Mr. Swift for dinner the night before. That’s when he encouraged the singer’s father, a well-known Philadelphia Eagles fan, to wear a Chiefs lanyard to the show.
“Are you going to let this man’s devilish good looks and relationship with your daughter deter you from a lifetime of fandom, Scott?” joked Jason, who plays center for the Eagles.
Travis also spoke about Taylor’s disappointment after she had to postpone one of her shows in Argentina due to weather concerns.
“She prides herself on performing in the weather or the rain and things like that, but when it’s not safe for her and her team and everyone in the stadium, you have to do what you have to do,” Travis said, clarifying that the show was postponed and not canceled indefinitely according to Swift.
It certainly seems like things are getting serious between the two, but some critics just aren’t convinced that this era of “Traylor” is good or will last. Taylor’s supermodel and close friend Gigi Hadid, 28, recently shared how she feels the “Bad Blood” singer is “doing too much” with her new venture “too fast.”
Still, we can all agree that the two look happy together!
