This month brings positive news for Jon Stewart fans. Trouble with Jon Stewart, the comedian’s popular talk show, is returning to Apple TV+ this month. Scheduled to air on March 3, 2023. The first season of the commentary show premieres in 2021 and is presented by Jon Stewart, The Daily Show veteran who is more than just an actor. very famous comedian but also a prominent political expert, a provocateur, actor, producer and TV presenter.
During his tenure, the show grew in popularity and received critical acclaim with 22 Primetime Emmy Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several journalism and news honors. He was the longest-running host of the Daily Show from 1995 to 2015, when he was succeeded by comedian Trevor Noah. After he left, he started showing The Trouble with Jon Stewart on Apple TV+.
Season 2 of Trouble with Jon Stewart returns with talks about the military, crime, layoff culture, inflation, and fascism.
According to the official press release issued by Apple TV+ Press on April 7, 2022, the current concept of the show is as follows:
“The Trouble With Jon Stewart” is a one-hour, multi-part documentary that deals with issues currently being debated nationally and his campaign work. To continue the conversation, each season of the show will be further reviewed in a companion podcast.
The second season of the second season, however, will feature the series’ first foreign conversations with a number of foreign policy officials. Stewart is facing Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge over the state’s ban on gender-affirmation treatments in previews for the upcoming season.
According to an Apple TV+ press release in February 2023:
“The second season continues with six brand new segments covering topics such as crime, military strategy, inflation, and democratic recession. This series includes intense, topical and culturally insightful discussions from the perspectives of stakeholders, experts and those facing these issues, with humor. and common sense.
Some of the notable people slated to appear on The Trouble with Jon Stewart this season include:
- General David Petraeus talks about security.
- Natham Dahm (R-OK) explains crime and guns in detail.
- California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) talks about prison reform and rehabilitation.
In the first series, the host will go abroad to speak with experts on foreign policy.

The series also has a related audio of the same name available on iTunes Podcasts and via the RSS platform. The show is also well-liked and has won accolades like the Ambie Award for Outstanding Conversational Sound. Last year, Adweek’s Podcast of the Year Awards named it Best Talk Podcast, and it received the People’s Choice Podcast Award for Best Male Presenter and Best Political and Informational Program.
