Carlos Alcaraz shows off his shiny trophy in the Laureus World Sports Awards 2023!
The 20-year-old tennis star dressed up for the event, held at Cour Vendome on Monday (May 8) in Paris, France, alongside soccer star Lionel Messi and his wife Antonella Roccuzzo, and skier Eileen Gu.
Lionel was awarded the Laureus Sportsman of the Year and also accepted Paris St Germain’s honor as World Team of the Year.
“I was looking at the names of the incredible legends who won the Laureus Sportsman of the Year Award before me: Schumacher, Woods, Nadal, Federer, Bolt, Hamilton, Djokovic… it really sank into the incredible company I am in and what “It is a unique honor,” he said on stage, according to Reuters.
Carlos was honored with the Laureus World Breakthrough of the Year award and Eileen received the Laureus Sport for Good: TeamUp award.
