Facts/General Knowledge
- According to Tejaswini, she wanted to become an army officer, beauty queen and teacher in her childhood.
- In an interview, Tejaswini revealed a disturbing encounter with her landlord in Pune, who once propositioned her for sexual relations. She described how the landlord, a local government representative, proposed a harassing arrangement in exchange for sexual favors when she came to his office to pay her rent. Shocked and hurt by this audacious proposal, Tejaswini immediately responded by throwing a glass of water on the landlord’s face. Tejaswini Pandit said in the interview,
It was around 2009-10 and I lived in a rented apartment on Sinhagad Road (in Pune). At that time only one or two of my films were released. The owner of the apartment was a corporator. When I reached his office to pay the rent, he made me a straight offer… There was a glass of water on the table, I picked it up and threw it on his face. I didn’t get into this profession to do such things, otherwise I wouldn’t be living in a rented apartment. I would have brought houses and cars and whatnot.”
- Tejaswini took a trip down memory lane with her father through an Instagram post in 2021. He reminisced about the two spoons that his family had with him since his birth, one for measuring tea powder and the other for measuring sugar. It was his father who taught him the art of making tea with these spoons. Despite a spoon having a broken handle, he never replaced it because his family strongly believed in the importance of precise measurements in cooking.
