Taylor Swift Reacts to Ryan Gosling’s Cover of ‘All Too Well’ with Emily Blunt During ‘SNL’ Monologue

Taylor Swift shared her support for Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt’s cover of “All Too Well” on her SNL Monologue.

Ryan took the stage as an SNL host on Saturday. “I’m here for my new movie, The scapegoatWith Emily Blunt! he announced she. “So don’t worry, I’m not going to make jokes about Ken. Because he is not funny.”

He then referenced his “breakup” with his role as Ken in the Barbie movie.

“When you play a character so strongly and for so long, letting it go feels like a breakup,” he continued. “And to process a breakup, there’s really only one thing that could help: the music of the great Taylor Swift.”

As she sat at the piano to sing, she put on sunglasses that matched Taylor’s signature style and then sang her own version of the song.

“I destroyed Venice Beach, it’s true,” he began to sing, changing the lyrics. “My clothes were tight. But something about that spandex felt so good.”

“I left my skates in that big pink house. But I still have that fur coat and I’ll wear it right now.”

Then he put on his coat and got up from the piano to play.

“If I said I was doing well, you would know I would be lying. Because I was just Ken and now I’m just Ryan.”

Ryan then responded by saying that he is “not related,” stating that he listened to “All Too Well” while filming the movie and was thinking about the “breakup.”

“I mean, in a way, I’m doing exactly what we talked about,” he joked.

Emily continued to berate him, telling him that he finally needed to move on.

Ryan agreed, just before saying, “I just can’t. ‘Cause…”

He continued with the chorus of the song, changing the lyrics once again.

“Here we are again on that technicolor beach. I didn’t win the Oscar, it was just out of my reach. I was there, with bleached blonde hair, now it’s time to say goodbye to Ken.”

Taylor Swift reacts to Ryan Gosling SNL Cover ‘Too Good’
