Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are continuing their highly publicized romance into the new year, and the pop singer doesn’t care who knows about it. Swift recently changed the lyrics of “Karma” to greet Kelce during a show in Sydney.
It was extra special since Kelce was in the crowd. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end traveled to Australia with teammate Ross Travis to provide support to Swift.
“Karma” traditionally features the lyrics “Karma is the guy on the screen coming right at me.” However, Swift changed them to “Karma is the guy from the Chiefs who comes straight to see me.“
Kelce danced along to the song, clearly loving the salute as Swift performed on stage.

Swift’s relationship with Kelce seems a little prescient in some ways. In a 2009 interview with Glamor, Swift described what she wanted from a future relationship. She predicted it would be a life on the road.
“It will always be long distance, even if I’m dating the guy who lives next door to me in Nashville. I’ll fly out to see him and take him places so he can see me,” Swift told the outlet. “It sounds like it would involve more programming, and I already deal with a lot of programming in my life. Of course, if I met someone worth my salt, I’d probably stop thinking that way!
She also described what type of man she was interested in. Kelce seemed to check a lot of boxes.
“I wouldn’t want to be with a pushover who would let me make all the plans and have all the control,” she continued. “It’s very natural for me to go into planning mode, but I prefer to be with someone who has their own voice, passion and ambition.”
Meanwhile, Kelce gave a much more recent update on their relationship. Speaking about the past year (via Today ), Kelce said it’s been a supportive relationship.
“Hopefully everyone realizes that we’re just two people in a relationship supporting each other and having fun, man. It is nothing more than that,” he stated. “We just had fun with it. We enjoy every detail. I love when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with my family and friends. But it has been nothing but a wonderful year.”
