After completing her degree in dentistry, Rabya started her practice as a dentist. Despite working on the farm for a year, he found little happiness in it. As a result, he decided to leave his dental career and pursue a career in teaching. She taught class four students at the Pakistan Air Force School in Korong, Karachi.

In 2017, Rabya made her acting debut with the Pakistani drama ‘Zamaani Manzil Ke Maskaraay’ aired on Geo Entertainment, in which she played the role of Zainab. His mother Parveen Akbar played the lead role in this play. From 2017 to 2018, he played small roles in many TV shows like ‘Dhundh’ (2017), ‘Jannat’ (2017), ‘Tere Naal Love Hogaya’ (2018). She got major success with the Urdu drama ‘Hara Dil’ (2018), in which she played the role of Abir, the younger sister of the lead character Momina.
In 2019, she appeared in another Pakistani drama ‘Mir Abru’, in which she played the role of Sana, the younger sister of the lead character Abru. She has played the role of younger sister in many TV shows including ‘Shehr-e-Malal’ (2020), ‘Fraud’ (2022) and ‘Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha’ (2023). His role as Neelo in ‘Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha’ received appreciation from the audience. She was signed to play an important role in the drama ‘Mannat Murad’ aired on Geo TV in September 2023.
