It’s officially the first day of August, so expect an uptick of videos for the “August” running trend on TikTok using the music of Taylor Swift!
The videos have gone viral for the past month and feature people running along the beach or other places while Taylor‘s music for “August” plays.
The running videos are usually set to the bridge of the song, which features the lyrics, “Back when we were still changin’ for the better / Wanting was enough / For me, it was enough / To live for the hope of it all / Cancel plans just in case you’d call / And say, ‘Meet me behind the mall’ / So much for summer love and saying ‘us’ / ‘Cause you weren’t mine to lose.”
