Aaron Rodgers shares an update from the hospital after undergoing surgery to repair his torn Achilles tendon.
The 39-year-old quarterback was injured early in his first game with the New York Jets after recently joining the East Coast team. He will now be out for the remainder of the season due to the injury.
Aaron underwent surgery on Wednesday (September 13) and took to Instagram Stories to share a photo of himself in the hospital bed along with a quick update.

“The surgery went very well yesterday. Thank you for all the love, prayers and support. And thanks to the [GOAT] Dr. ElAttrache and his staff for starting me on the road to recovery,” he captioned the photo.
In the image, you can see a glimpse of Aaron’s black and blue foot, but the caption covers most of the injury.
Aaron shared his first statement since the injury on the day of his surgery.
