Billionaire pop queen and America’s sweetheart Taylor Swift was seen ruling Coachella, with her Super Bowl king Travis Kelce by her side. The renowned lovebirds were captured backstage, enthusiastically supporting Taylor’s friend Jack Antonoff during his performance with his band, Bleachers.
In a TikTok video, a Coachella attendee showed the two famous lovers singing, sharing kisses, dancing and clapping to the band’s song, “Rollercoaster.”
Of course, Antonoff played a pivotal role in creating some of Taylor’s most successful songs. They collaborated on Swift songs such as “Look What You Made Me Do”, “Cruel Summer”, “Mirrorball” and “Karma”. Antonoff has also worked with a variety of artists including Lana Del Rey, Carly Rae Jepsen and Sia.
Meanwhile, multiple clips and images of the beloved superstar couple at Coachella hit social media. Most seemed to show a fairly normal-looking duo, in their mid-thirties, attending a concert.
However, Swifties felt otherwise.
Some Swifties believe the NFL star is the key to Swift’s happiness. In images of the two in the crowd (in which Taylor sports a new heights hat), the “Bad Blood” singer laughs at a comment the tight end makes. “The way he constantly makes her laugh, she deserves this,” one fan wrote alongside the footage.
A Taylor Swift-obsessed acolyte slowed down footage of his idol staring at Travis Kelce while in the Coachella crowd. “Slowed down version of Tay looking at Travis,” they captioned the footage.
Some lip-reading Internet sleuths even thought they saw Tay-Slay getting sloppy. “It definitely looks like she’s saying ‘I love you,'” a resident of X speculated.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce had a great week before their Coachella adventure
Swift is on a brief hiatus from her Eras tour, with plans to resume performances in Paris, France, in May. Next week, the Grammy-winning artist will present her eleventh studio album, The Department of Tortured Poets.
Ahead of the April 8 solar eclipse, Swift offered a preview of lyrics from her upcoming album. Many fans speculated that the possible teased lyric, “Crowd gone wild at her fingertips/Half moonshine, Full eclipse,” alluded to the album’s final track, “Clara Bow:.”
Meanwhile, Kelce and his older brother Jason received their college diplomas in a surprise graduation ceremony at the University of Cincinnati on Thursday, April 11. During the event, Travis surely showed off his mastery of chugging beer down his throat.
