Syed Mohammad Ahmed started his career in films as a writer in 2008. He gained immense love for writing the film Ramchand Pakistan (2008) followed by Tere Bin Laden (2010), and Lala Begum (2016). In 2017, he gave a special appearance in the film ‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi.’ He has also contributed to the films Mehrunisa V Lub U (2017), Cake (2018), and Laal Kabootar (2019).

In 2008, Syed Ahmed made his television debut in the series Shaista Shaista. He appeared as Sara’s father in the 2009 television series Doraha, then as Nabeel’s father in the 2010 television series Dolly Ki Ayegi Baraat. He appeared in “Annie Ki Ayegi Baraat,” “Durr-e-Shehwar,” and “Coke Kahani” in 2012.
