Death
On the night of 1 October 2019 (Tuesday), Sushma died after being shot 2-4 times by unidentified assailants near her apartment in Noida.
Sushma was living with her ex-husband (Gajendra Bhati) in her apartment but her ex-husband was living with his live-in-partner in a separate room of the apartment.
Gautam Buddh Nagar Senior Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Krishna said:
“She was returning from a program in nearby Bulandshahr district when the attack took place. He was hit by three to four bullets and was taken to hospital where he died.
Nekpur had earlier survived an attack during a program in Mehsana village of Bulandshahr on August 19 this year.
