Susan Boyle is making a surprising return.
The 62-year-old singer, who suffered a stroke a year ago that left her unable to speak or sing, returned to the stage of Brittany’s Got Talent for an incredible performance.
Susan joined the West End cast of The Miserables to perform the song that first catapulted her to stardom, “I Dreamed a Dream.”
“It feels great. In fact, it’s very special for me. Because last April there I suffered a minor stroke,” he revealed.
“Tonight I had the privilege of returning to @bgt and performing with the wonderful cast of @lesmizofficial. This night was even more special for me since in April 2022 I suffered a stroke. Over the past year I have worked very hard to get my speaking and singing back, with the sole aim of being able to sing on stage again and tonight my hard work and perseverance paid off, singing the song that started it all, ‘I Dreamed’. A dream,’” she wrote on his Instagram.
He also performed the song a few years ago on another big talent show.
