We are still dating. We’re still going strong,” Matt said. new. “Obviously, there’s a lot of chemistry there. We are two silly magnets. We couldn’t stay away from each other. And we knew it all along. I consider myself a very logical and intelligent boy. The only thing you go into Survivor and don’t do is go into a showmance because it’s a terrible strategy, but we literally couldn’t help ourselves. So yeah, we’re still going strong. We have Ethiopian food. We are planning that road trip. We’re making it happen.”
Matt added: “It’s the last thing I expected. You prepare for this game, but you could never prepare for it, right? One of the things I told myself going out was to accept what the experience had in store for me. Going out with an open mind and letting myself feel the things that I was feeling and expressing them and allowing myself to be whatever, whoever I am in that moment. I think I really did that. For me, that connection is very strong. That relationship with me and Frannie is so beautiful and so pure. It would be a disservice to me and her not to let that flourish, regardless of the game, you know? I am the true winner of Survivor 44.”
Matt confirmed that Frannie was on the other side of the wall while giving the interview!
