1 . timer challenge
This moon is south of Hot Springs Island and Mario must collect it before time runs out. It’s easy to miss, as the red button is hard to spot, despite its size. If you turn south of Hot Springs Banner and jump off the cliff, there will be a crack in the water. Go straight through the crack and you’ll see a red button. When Mario presses the button, he has to smash the blocks on another platform and collect the moon.

To obtain this moon, the player must capture the Old God and travel to the Odyssey. To climb to the ledge next to the Odyssey, take advantage of the Old God’s jet and keep going east and you can reach the highest peak.
