Stevie Nicks does not foresee any more Fleetwood Mac tours in the future.
The 75-year-old music icon has been part of the rock group responsible for songs like “Landslide,” “Little Lies” and “The Chain” for nearly five decades.
However, in a recent interview he explained the heartbreaking reason why he didn’t see a future with the band.

Speaking to Vulture, Stevie explained that he couldn’t imagine touring again as Fleetwood Mac without his best friend and bandmate Christine McVie, who passed away at the age of 79 in November 2022.
“When Christine died, I felt like you couldn’t replace her. You just can’t. Without it, what is it? You know what I mean? “She was like my soulmate, my musical soulmate and my best friend who I spent more time with than any of my other best friends outside of Fleetwood Mac,” Stevie explained. “Christine was my best friend.”
She went on to say, “When I think about Taylor Swift’s song ‘You’re on Your Own, Kid’ and the line ‘you’ve always been,’ I thought it was me and Christine. We were alone at that time. band. We always were. We protected each other. Who am I going to look at on the right that isn’t behind that Hammond organ? When she died, I thought we couldn’t really do this anymore. There is no reason to do it.”
Stevie shared a heartfelt tribute to Christine at the time of her death last year. She also offered more insight into how Taylor helped her grieve her loss.
